for a Peaceful Planet by Cora E. Cypser

Pieces of Yesterday
Pieces of Yesterday contains poems that connect our yesterdays to our tomorrows. Has yesterday's greed
contributed to the selfishness and materialism of society? Are the kind thoughts of people in the past still
carried in the hearts and minds of us today and passed on to the future?

useful to people in their journey.

Keeping Eternity in Mind
Keeping Eternity in Mind contains poems that link our present milieu with eternal values. Every human
             spirit
has been formed to interact with the spirit of another. We can share the love and wisdom that resides
in us. Our vision of the holy realm
encourages that peaceful community into reality.

Think on These things
Think on These Things has to do with sociology which pertains to the forms, institutions, and functions of
human groups; and also with ontology which is the study of reality or being. The theme of this book is
derived from Philippians Chapter 4, verse 8: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever things are true,
whatever honorable, whatever just, whatever holy, whatever lovable, whatever of good repute, if there be
any virtue, if anything worthy of praise, think upon these things."

Seasonings
Seasonings celebrates the changing of the seasons and the feasts that have been put in place to transform
the ordinary into the extraordinary. It contains Stations of The Cross for Good Friday. It asks us to

        Versings and Conversings

Versings and Conversings is dedicated to all those who talk with the God within. It is written to encourage
those who have heard the message, "Love your neighbor as yourself." With non-violence and active
responsibility we can establish caring practices which will turn the world upside down.

    Lion and Lamb

Lion and Lamb is dedicated to all those who work for a workable world. Our social systems have
encouraged killing women as witches and confining the insane to disruptive prisons. We have theologized
about the words "just war", and watched helplessly as children are exposed to land mines. Will we
continue to waste centuries in exploiting the little ones among us?

                 Sample poems:

    Wandering in the Wilderness
Wandering In The Wilderness is dedicated to those who search for friendship with things eternal. It
contains poems on evolution  in nature and societies, on justice and prisons, on women and their  ways,
on concerned community, on God-ideas, and on symbols, signs and sacraments.

    In the Footsteps of Teilhard

In The Footsteps of Teilhard attempts to follow the thought of the Jesuit priest, Teilhard de Chardin. As Teilhard was also a paleontologist, he spent time in China pursuing that calling, while also worshipping and theologizing. He spoke of matter coming out of energy, and how all material things have a spiritual with-in. He believed that humankind was evolving towards the Omega Point, God's destiny for the creation.

Navigators' Manual

The Process of Becoming by Rudolph J. and Cora E. Cypser

The Process of Becoming portrays the evolutionary growth of spiritual consciousness and each individual's growth to become a full person. This book explores the key questions: Who am I? What will give me lasting satisfaction?  What do I really want to become? What is my relationship to others, to this world, to God? What is my plan for living fully?

Taking Off the Patriarchal Glasses by Cora E. Cypser

Taking Off The Patriarchal Glasses is dedicated to Mary Magdalene and the Presbyter Joanna. When we research
the Bible from a woman's viewpoint, we come to suspect that some sections of God's Holy Word can have   been    set     down by women. One of the most faithful of Jesus' disciples is the woman Mary Magdalene. She may be the
Beloved Disciple referred to in the Gospel of John.

Covenant and Consensus by Cora E. Cypser

Covenant and Consensus has a dream for the earth's future:-- Covenanted people govern through the consensus process. Will the Catholic Church show us the way by utilizing its New Code of Canon Law? Will the Government of Israel show us the way by listening to God's voice as it speaks through the people? Will the prison system demonstrate for those incarcerated, a more just and rehabilitative mode of operation? Surely, we the people of the earth can run the earth with justice, for we are all children and creations of a just and loving God!

Justice Training Supplement by Cora E. Cypser

This manual is proposed as an addition to training materials used by Departments of Probation, Correction, and Parole in their officer training programs. Many training programs concentrate on safety, security, and control. There are other aspects to becoming a well-rounded officer. Those who wish to have careers as officers in such correctional situations also often want to make a positive difference in their community and in their state. They are seeking for ways to make the world a more orderly place. They also want to be of service to their fellow human beings.

     D) Books of the Ancient Past by Cora E. Cypser

      The Rocks Are Shouting

The Rocks Are Shouting! is a laywoman's view of theological archaeology. Here is everything you might want to surmise about antique rocks, early population shifts, and our religious heritage. Some rock constructions may designate tomb sites, may be boundary markers, may contain samples of ancient writing, or may represent religious symbols such as early versions of The Goddess. In all this theorizing there is an emphasis on The-God-Who-Stands-By-Us in our evolutionary trek.

A Series of Theories

A Series of Theories has possible explanations for early happenings that are recorded in the Bible. The myths that are set down in the Bible may be the retelling of earlier myths that were carried down the centuries by word of mouth. Could the wilderness journey of the Jewish people have taken place in Turkey? Does the story about the pursuit of the Israelites across the Red Sea, really recall an early flooding of the Black Sea? We are not to believe that when these stories were finally written down, that it was the first time these stories were told. In particular, the myth of God giving the land to a chosen people, was a myth that was told many times across the earth before it was told in Israel. The Creator God made the earth for all people, as long as they would share its bounty.
